ZC (Zero Clearance) Series — Doors for Factory Built Fireplaces

Factory-Built Fireplaces, also called Zero Clearance (ZC) Fireplaces, require special glass doors. The "Zero Clearance" name comes from the fact that these fireplaces can be built with "zero clearance" to combustible components of the house. The fireplaces are designed to use cooling air between the firebox and the home. The glass doors are designed to facilitate the cooling air. Most zero clearance fireplaces come with standard glass doors from the manufacturer. In most cases, the doors are quite inexpensive, and it is reflected in their operation, quality and looks. Our doors are extremely high quality at a very moderate price. The difference in the appearance of your fireplace will be incredible!

All ZC doors come with foldback bifold doors. Tracked bifold and Twin Doors are also available. You can get any of the models with your choice of clear, bronze or gray glass. You can even get beveled glass!

PLEASE NOTE: All doors listed in the ZC Series can be used on electric fireplaces.

The New Legend ZC

Traditional look, exceptional craftsmanship

Now you can totally change the look of your "black box" fireplace. The Legend ZC is custom made to fit the specific needs of your fireplace and is available as an inside or overlap fit door. Available as a rectangle with arch doors (as shown), or with rectangular doors. Beautifully finished in over 26 different finishes.

The Legend ZC

For Recirculating Fireplaces

This variation of the Legend ZC door provides a clean look to camouflage the unsightly vents of your recirculating fireplace. The Legend ZC-RC features twin Gate Mesh Doors instead of glass and completely covers the exposed face of your fireplace including vents. Over 20 stylish finishes are available.

Door handles are centered as shown, however, they can be placed anywhere on the vertical stiles.
